Begin your Everest Three Passes with Base Camp Trek from a small town, Lukla, located in the lap of
mountain after a short domestic flight from Kathmandu. Walk via Phakding and Monjo and arrive at
Namche Bazar enjoying the flora and fauna of Sagarmatha National. We also pass Tengboche,
Dingboche and Chukkung Valley before we cross Kongma La Pass. Crossing Kongma La Pass, we arrive at
Lobuche and trek to Everest Base Camp. Climbing Kalapatthar will equally be spectacular with
breathtaking Mt. Everest. Now, we move towards two more high passes: Chola and Renjo La Pass. First,
we cross Chola Pass and trek to spectacular Gokyo Valley and Gokyo Lake. Finally, we venture to Renjola
Pass and trek back to Lukla via Namche Bazar.

Level of Difficulty:

Everest Three Passes with Everest Base Camp Trek is a challenging Trek for we are going to cross major
highest three passes of the world: Kongma La Pass (5535 M) Chola Pass (5420 M) and Renjola Pass (5360
M) which is not a joke. You require full passion in adventure with highest level of stamina. No technical
skills of trekking or climbing are require however, basic skills are must. Only those who have prior
trekking or hiking experience can accomplish this trip successfully. Get ready to bear weather extremes
on the trail. And also, pack up right and reliable trekking gear and accompany with professional trekking
crew.

Best Weather of the Year:

Autumn (Sep-Nov) and Spring (Mar-May) are the two finest weathers of the year for Everest three
Passes with Base Camp Trek. During these seasons, the temperature is mild and normally, no snowfall.
You may get some rain during Spring, otherwise, you will have beautiful time.

Food and Accommodation:

Experience local lodge accommodation where you will get foods too. All items of food you want may not
be there in the menu of the local lodges, but, at least, you will get sufficient. The foods you get at the
local lodges are organic and hygienic. Regarding the accommodation, you may get better
accommodation in Namche and Dingboche.

Itinerary

Day 1Your Arrival At T.I.A. Kathmandu

Arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport via your international flight. We will be there to receive you according to your arrival. Next, we will transfer you to the hotel. You can take rest of the time for your choice since we do not have any special activity today.

Day 2Trek preparation & Free Day

Prepare the equipment you require for the trekking. For the basic guideline, you can see our trekking equipment list. You can get the book or the map about the trek you are undertaking. Take a walk around the city and enjoy your time. Optionally, if you want some other activities in the city, please let us know.

Day 335-40 minutes Flight from Kathmandu to Lukla (2860 M) -Trek to Phakding 2660 M. (3-4 hours)mes only)

A short domestic flight takes you to Lukla today. You will experience marvelous the mountain and landscapes during the flight. Arrive at Lukla and begin formally towards Phakding. The trail passes through Lukla Town and descends via lush forest until we get to Phakding.

Important notice: “Lukla flight is departing and returning to Ramechhap Manthali airport due to ongoing upgrades at Kathmandu airport. It’s about a 4/5 hours drive to Ramechhap from Kathmandu so we will get started for the airport around 2:30 am. The return drive at the end of the trek is between 4/5 hours”.

Day 4Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazzar (3440 M) (5-6 hours)

Leave Phakding after a beautiful breakfast. Pass Monjo and walk into Sagarmatha National Park, UNESCO World Heritage Site. Cross a few suspension bridges and experience local people’s lifestyle. Further, celebrate the walk under cool shades of the oak, rhododendron and pine. Ascend up to Namche Bazar crossing a suspension bridge.

Day 5A Rest & Excursion day

Do not miss to hike up to Hotel Everest View to see Mt. Everest and other magnificent mountain panorama. Khumjung village also will equally be beautiful to see from Hotel Everest View. Walk down to Namche Bazar and walk around the town. You can go to your favorite restaurant to enjoy the foods. Visit Sherpa Cultural Museum and observe Tibetan Traditional Market in the evening.

Day 6Trek from Namche Bazzar to Tengbuche (3870 M) (6 hours)

Climb up to the main trail passing via Namche Bazar and start walking on flat trail. This trail is usually used by the yaks and mules for carrying the food stuffs to the higher elevation. Walk down to the river, cross it and walk up to Tengboche via pine forest. Go to visit Tengboche monastery which is very popular in Khumbu region.

Day 7Trek from Tengbuche to Dingboche (4460 M) (5-6 hours)

Enjoy this easy walk through fir, juniper, oak and rhododendron. You can experience entire Sagarmatha National Park on the walk. Arrive at a beautiful town, Dingboche and stay overnight at local lodge.

Day 8Trek from Dingboche to Chhukung (4730 M) (3-4 hours)

You will experience various alpine vegetations in today’s walk. Follow the river valley until you get another incredible Chukking Valley. You can see incredible Island Peak and other mountain summits from Chukkung Valley.

Day 9A rest day and Excursion day

Walk around the valley and enjoy freedom. Further, climb Chukkung ri and capture breathtaking Island Peak, Nupse, Ama Dablam and Makalu. Walk down to the valley and relax at the lodge.

Day 10Trek from Chhukung to Lobuche 4910 M. via Kongma La Pass (5535 M) (7-8 hours)

Does a good preparation before you leave for Lobuche via Kongma La Pass. Climb up to Kongma La, cross it and arrive at Lobuche. Kongma La Pass is one of the high passes of the world offering Mt. Everest, Nupse , Lhotse and many other incredible mountain summits in Khumbu region.

Day 11Trek from Lobuche to Gorkshep 5160 M. & Hike to Everest Base Camp (5364 M) – Gorkshep (7-8 hours)

Today’s trek is very important because you are going to put your footsteps at the highest mountain base camp of the world, Everest Base Camp. Walk through various ridges witnessing mighty avalanches and glaciers around. Pumori and other mountain peaks are visible on the trail today till we get to Gorekh Shep. When we arrive at Gorekhshep, we keep our luggage at the lodge and move ahead towards Everest Base Camp. Capturing breathtaking mountain giants and mighty glaciers and avalanches, we trek back to Gorekh Shep for overnight stay.

Day 12Early morning hike from Gorkshep to Kalapather (5550 M) & trek descent to Dzongla (4830 M) (6-7 hours)

You will climb Kalapatthar before sunrise. You will wait for the sunrise after getting at the top. Now, you capture the most stupendous view of Mt. Everest, Loa Tse, Nupse, Pumori and many other incredible mountain peaks with stunning sunrise. Trek back to Gorekh Shep and continue trekking down to Dzongla and prepare for next day’s adventure to Chola Pass.

Day 13Trek from Dzongla to Thaknak 4750 M. via Chola Pass (5420 M) (6-7 hours)

Walk up to Chola Pass following the rocky mountain trail. Be very careful because the trail may be slippery too. When you arrive at Chola Pass, you hardly believe the mountain summits you see around including Mt. Everest, the top of the world. Next, you will walk down to Thaknak.

Day 14Trek from Thaknak to Gokyo Lake (4800 M) (4-5 hours)

You will have a moderate walk today witnessing incredible glaciers and avalanches around. Pass through numerous ridges and arrive at beautiful Gokyo Village where you find a massive freshwater, Gokyo Lake.

Day 15Hike up to Gokyo Ri and Rest (5360 M) (5-6 hours)

Ascend up to the apex of Gokyo ri early in the morning. Capture mesmerizing Mt. Everest and other majestic mountain peaks. Walk down to Gokyo Village, explore Gokyo Lake and have rest. Also, prepare for the next day’s adventure to Renjola Pass.

Day 16Trek from Gokyo Lake to Marlung (4210 m ) via Renjola Pass (5360 M) (7-8 hours)

Walk up to Renjola Pass hitting the rocky mountain trail. Renjola Pass offers you breathtaking Everest, Makalu, Lhotse and numerous snow-fed mountain peaks in Everest region. You will find the Gokyo Lake spectacular from the top of Renjo La Pass. Next, trek down to Marlung for overnight stay.

Day 17Trek from Marlung to Namche Bazzar (5-6 hours)

Trek to Namche Bazar from Marlung passing through lush forest and various traditional Sherpa settlements. Arrive at Namche and explore the town. You will find luxurious hotels, modern restaurants and cafes, banks and ATMS.

Day 18Trek from Namche Bazzar to Lukla (6-7 hours)

You will trek out of Sagarmatha National Park from Monjo today and head towards Lukla via Phakding. Ascend up to Lukla Town from Phakding and stay overnight at lodge.

Day 19Fly from Lukla to Kathmandu and transfer to a hotel

Take another short and scenic flight to Kathmandu. Arriver in Kathmandu airport and we will wrrange your transfer to the hotel. We offer you a cultural farewell dinner in the evening. Enjoy it.

Day 20Departure

In order end this trip formally, we drop you to the Kathmandu Airport. Now, you can make your another trip to homewards.
